Fans reacted and slammed the Old Trafford Stadium management after the stadium got flooded by heavy rainfall. The football venue’s away dressin room was flooded after the side faced a 0-1 loss to Arsenal in their Premier League clash. Around 1.6 inches of rain fell in the two hours after the final whistle, which was more than the city had in the entire month of May. With the heavy rain, water started cascading from one corner of the ground and the seating area in the stadium got flooded.

Several videos from the stadium went viral on social media, showing one of the dressing roos had heavy leaks. Sir Jim Ratcliffe spoke about the issue and said, “The two most talked-about issues at Manchester United are number one, the football, the performance on the pitch and the second one is the stadium. What we can see so far is a really good case to refurbish Old Trafford, probably about £1billion in cost.”
