One of the truly under appreciated facts about the big man is that as on date he’s played a record 749 T20 games- a format he dearly loves- and he’s scored no fewer than 14,921 runs.
Imagine this, with a few more hits, preferably lusty blows down the ground or to different parts of the ground, he’d have touched and even crossed 15,000 career runs in the T20 contests.
