The highly-anticipated Commonwealth Games is all set to kick start from July 28th till August 28th in Birmingham. The multi-sport event will cover 19 sports in span of 11 days, as the 22nd edition of the games has introduced couple of new events in the marquee tournament.
A day after the opening ceremony, the proceedings of the games will begin on July 29, 2022. Even without shooting being a part of the sports roster, Indian contingent possesses enough strength to be one of the top four medal contenders alongside hosts England, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
The likes of Squash stars Sourav Ghoshal, and Joshna Chinappa, Indian Table Tennis team, and India's Badminton contingent will be in action on Day 1.
