The Pro Kabaddi League finally found a new champion on Friday in form of Dabang Delhi, after last season's runners-up defeated 3-time winners Patna Pirates in an epic final. On the back of Super 10s from Naveen Kumar and Vijay Malik, Delhi went on to beat Patna by a narrow margin of 37-36 in a thrilling contest to lift the prestigious trophy.
As expected, the fans went berserk on social media following the incredible final contest between two of the best sides this season. However, after 136 matches spread across 64 days, the winners were Dabang Delhi, who finally turned their sorrows of previous season to tears of joy this time around.
While some people tweeted 'final ho toh aisa', others were just delighted to witness such a brilliant contest on the D-Day. Some people hilariously predicted that with Delhi winning PKL this season, it could be Delhi winning IPL as well in 2022. Meanwhile, the netizens also had words of praise for Patna for their incredible and dominant campaign.
