Dallas police are on the lookout for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice as part of  their investigation of a major accident Saturday in Dallas. Law  enforcement offi cials have revealed that a vehicle, possibly registered or leased to Rice, was involved in a crash in northeast Dallas at around 6:20 p.m. local time Saturday.

A police call sheet confirmed that officials are searching for Rice in connection with the accident. The authorities haven't shared major details about the accident, regarding whether anyone was injured. Despite these reports,  there is no indication whether Rice will face charges, and his level of involvement in the accident also is unclear. 

The report by the  Dallas Morning News revealed that  Rice wasn't present at the Dallas County jail record as of 7:00 a.m. ET on Sunday.  Rice grew up in  Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Texas. He then played all four years of his college career at SMU before being drafted by the Chiefs in the second round last year.

Talking about the 2023-24 season, Rashee Rice  finished second in receptions (79) and receiving yards (938), behind only Travis Kelce for the Chiefs and had a team-leading seven touchdown catches. In the postseason, Rice also had 26 catches for 262 yards and a touchdown in the final four games to their second straight Super Bowl championship.
