Warner’s fans will miss him in IPL 2025

David Warner won’t feature in IPL 2025 as he failed to get a buyer in the auction held in Jeddah in November. Back in 2009, he broke into the league with Delhi Capitals (DC) and went on to serve the franchise until 2013. In 2014, Warner became a part of the Orange Army and won the coveted trophy as skipper of the side in 2016.

In 2021, Warner’s form plummeted which resulted in his ousting from SRH. From 2022 to 2024, he was seen in DC’s jersey again but couldn’t perform upto the expectations. Talking about his IPL numbers, he has hoarded 6565 runs in 184 matches at a strike rate of 139.77, with four tons and 62 fifties. With these numbers, he is the highest overseas run-getter in the league.
