Indian wrestler and two-time Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar has been on the run since the death of 23-year-old Sagar Rana, a former junior national wrestling champion, at Chhatrasal Stadium. A Delhi court issued a non-bailable warrant against Sushil Kumar and nine others on Saturday, in connection with the murder of Sagar Rana.

Additionally, the court had earlier issued a look-out-circular against the wrestler. “We have recorded the statements of all the victims and they all named Sushil Kumar”, mentioned the DCP (North-West district). As per reports, the wrestler along with his associates was involved in a deadly brawl over a dispute with Sagar Rana, who were lodging at his residence near the stadium, earlier this month.

Delhi Police announces ₹1 lakh reward for info on Sushil Kumar

In a recent development in the wrestler's murder case, the Delhi Police has announced a cash reward of ₹ 1 lakh on any information leading to the arrest of Olympic champion Sushil Kumar in connection with the murder of the 23-year-old wrestler. Also, a reward of ₹ 50,000 has been announced for any information on Sushil’s associate Ajay Kumar, who is also on the run in the same case.

The police have already recorded statements of some people allegedly involved in the deadly brawl. They have confirmed that the wrestler was present at the spot when the clash took place. Additionally, Delhi police has been conducting raids in the Delhi-NCR region and neighbouring states to get hold of Sushil.
