The Delhi Police’s IFSO unit has finally lodged a case against six social media users for posting lewd comments about daughters of Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. The accused social media users posted obscene comments on Twitter a few days ago.

The FIR comes after the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) took Suo Moti cognisance of the matter and urged the state police to lodge FIR. The DCW had issued a notice over this matter and demanded action and information on it by January 16, 2023.

Prior to raising the complaint, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal had shared pictures of the tweets the six social media users had posted about MSD’s seven-year-old daughter and Virat Kohli’s two-year old.
