Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam is a well-known figure in his country as well as in some parts of the world. Azam is often in the headlines for his excellence on the cricket field. But, in the past few days, Babar is making the headlines for some unwanted reason. The Pakistan captain found himself in all sorts of trouble when his alleged private chats with a woman leaked online.
Babar trended the whole day on Monday as his alleged personal videos and chats drew different reactions from all corners. While many fans stood by the cricketer’s side, a few threw some tough questions at Babar. Amid all this, the Pakistan cricketer dropped a post on Instagram with a cheeky caption. Azam shared his picture in casual attire and wrote a cheeky caption. “Doesn't take too much to be happy,” wrote Azam.
Coming to the leaked videos and chats of Azam, many are claiming that the Pakistan captain is talking to the girlfriend of one of his teammates wherein he promises her that the player would retain his place in the squad. While there has been nothing said from any official source, Babar might have found himself on the receiving end of the trolls.
Notably, this is not the first time Babar is involved in such a scandal. The Pakistan captain was also accused of sexual harassment a couple of years back. A woman, Hamiza Mukhtar had filed several charges against Babar, including sexual harassment, threatening her, and making false promises of marriage.
Back then, Azam had said that he is used to such hurdles in life. “It is my personal issue and it is in court and my lawyer is handling it. We face all sorts of hurdles in life and I am used to it. This issue has not affected my form or cricket,” Babar had said.
