The former Intercontinental Champion, Elias made his eventual comeback in WWE on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw! The WWE Universe welcomed Elias like he never left and the smile on the wrestler’s face showed every possible emotion.
However, his return to the Red Brand was spoiled by the reigning United States champion, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins. As a result, Elias warned Rollins and claim that he will never forget what he did to him on WWE Raw.
So what happened between the two? Well, as usual, Elias was set to perform a song on the piano and rejoice with the WWE Universe. However, as soon as Elias started to sing, ‘The Original Bro’ Riddle came out and offered to play the bongos, which Elias declined, but Riddle sat in the ring to listen to the performance.
However, the party was ruined when ‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins came out with a grin on his face. Eventually, Rollins and Riddle locked horns for the United States championship which Rollins won.
During the match, Rollins hit Elias with a cheap shot. Eventually, when Elias retaliated, Rollins threw Riddle in his way and then hit the former 24/7 champion with the Stomp.
A potential feud between Elias and Seth Rollins?
Speaking on Raw Talk, Elias confessed that he was not offended when Riddle came out and interrupted his performance. He added that he did not like the way Rollins barged into the ring and ruined the night for him.
"Riddle came out, he interrupted. I mean, he's a good kid and his heart was in the right place, but wrong time", said Elias. "And then Seth, the whole thing. I wanted this to be a night that myself and the WWE Universe would never forget. But unfortunately for Seth, I'm not going to forget what he did to me tonight." , said Elias.
This all could lead to an interesting feud between the two wrestlers. The WWE Universe has missed Elias dearly and seeing back on WWE TV, they couldn’t ask for anything more.
