After missing majority of the season due to injuries, British tennis player Emma Raducanu is all set to return to action in the upcoming Grand Slam, Wimbledon 2025. The marquee tournament, which is set to commence from June 30 in London, saw the Briton open up on her dating rumours.
It is to be noted that Raducanu has been spotted a lot with Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. The two have been spotted together a lot of times and speculations hit the roof when Raducanu was seen cheering for Alcaraz from the sidelines during the men’s singles semifinal at HSBC Championship. With their dating rumours going rife, the Briton was inquired of the same ahead of her Wimbledon 2025 campaign.

As she appeared for the press conference ahead of Wimbledon 2025, Raducanu was asked of her relationship with the Spaniard. To this, the Briton quickly responded with a smile, “We’re just good friends.” Following her response, the moderator quickly interrupted to end the conference.

The 38th ranked tennis star, who fell short of a seeding, has been handed a difficult draw. The 22-year-old will face teenage wildcard entrant Mimi Xu. If the Briton beats Xu, she will either face 2023 champion Marketa Vondrousova or the 32nd seeded McCartney Kessler in the second round of Wimbledon 2025. On the other hand, defending champion Carlos Alcaraz will begin his campaign against veteran Italian Fabio Fognini.
