Mixed martial artist Paige VanZant, who competed in the flyweight division in the UFC, lost her last fight on July 12, 2020, in the fighting promotion and signed a four-bout contract with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship that reportedly worth over $1 million. Recently, the 28-year-old fighter has sparked an online bidding war among more than 100 fans with her 'kiss card'.
VanZant, whose real name is Paige Michelle Sletten, took to her official Instagram handle last week and shared a post with her 3.2 million followers, showing her 'kiss card'. She wrote, "FIRST EVER KISS CARD 1/1!! Listing this on eBay to support @austinvanderford new card shop. Go bid while you can and take a look at everything he’s got for sale if your into football cards."
Surprisingly, her paper kiss attracted many fans as they were involved in a bidding war as VanZant made the 'kiss card' available on Ebay, where it was sold for over 10,000 pounds. She wrote on social media, "Officially sold my first ever kiss card. Thank you to everyone who bid. This was a really cool experience for me."
Paige often posts her training and lifestyle videos on social media for her fans' delight and manages to get thousands of interactions from her followers. Her kiss card initially meant to promote her boyfriend's new card shop as she mentioned in her Instagram post.
After leaving the UFC with an 8-5 record in 2020, she is signed to wrestling promoters AEW, where she last appeared in May 2022.
