The seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League is underway and plenty of cricketing action is being witnessed on a daily basis. The Wednesday evening (2nd February) saw Lahore Qalandars taking on Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium in Karachi. Although Lahore Qalandars won the game comfortably and Fakhar Zaman shone with his quickfire fifty, it was a sloppy day for the Qalandars' fielders. Fakhar Zaman, in particular, had an on and off day in the field as he dropped two sitters while affected a super run out.

The first drop came early in the innings when Zaman and Mohammad Hafeez miscommunicated while going for Haider Ali's catch. As a result, none of them could hold on to the ball and Ali got a reprieve.

At that moment, both the players certainly believed that the other one should have pulled out as they looked upset at each other. However, Zaman's latest post on Twitter tells some other story. The Pak batter has put the picture as his Twitter Profile Picture in which both Hafeez and Zaman are seen colliding and dropping the catch.

Have a look at Zaman's post:

Zaman recovers!

A second chance came Zaman's way when Sherfane Rutherford mistimed a shot, but Fakahar could not redeem himself and dropped this one as well. He probably had the previous drop playing on his mind and as a result, he dropped another simple chance. Luckily for Zaman, the second frop did not cost Lahore much as Zaman Khan removed Rutherford in the very next over.

But Haider Ali was still there scoring runs at a quick rate. Every run scored by Ali was like a thorn in Zaman's skin. But the southpaw corrected his mistake and effected a brilliant run out to send Haider Ali back to the pavilion in the 19th over.

Qalandars make it two in three!

Notably, on the back of a brilliant half-century from Fakhar Zaman (66 off 380 and a quick cameo from Mohammad Hafeez (37* off 19 balls) helped Lahore Qalandars put a mammoth 199/4 on the board.  Then, in bowling, another Zaman (Zaman Khan) stole the show with three wickets of his four overs. He got good support from captain Shaheen Afridi and David Wiese who took a brace each. With this win, Lahore Qalandars climbed to the second spot in the points table with two wins from three games.
