During the second Test of the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series, a fan was forced to leave the stadium for his actions. The pink-ball Test, which concluded on Sunday, December 8, becoming the shortest completed Test in Australia by balls bowled, saw the Aussies fight back in style as they handed India a crushing 10-wicket defeat.
While it was a commanding win for the hosts, the pink-ball Test was also marred with several controversies, including the one heated face-off between Travis Head and Mohammed Siraj. In one of the recent videos which has been making rounds on social media, a fan was also chucked out of the stadium premises after he was seen waving a piece of sandpaper.

However, the exact timeline of the incident is not known, an Indian fan was forced to leave the stadium during the second Test in Adelaide. The fan reportedly waved a piece of sandpaper, trying to remind the hosts of the infamous sandpapergate scandal from 2018 during their match against South Africa.

In the videos circulating, the fan could be seen forcibly ejected from the venue by the security personnel amid mixed cheers from the stands. Recalling the infamous scandal, it saw greats of the game including Steve Smith, David Warner get banned from the sport along with Cameron Bancroft. The Aussie bowler was caught using a piece of sandpaper to alter the condition of the ball during the third Test in Cape Town.
