In the build-up to the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the inaugural champions Islamabad United unveiled new jerseys to hype the franchise T20 tournament. Some fans were happy to see the new jerseys, while others were quick to point out the similarity in their designs to the football kits, accusing Islamabad United of copying stuff.

Islamabad United shared the pic of the “Red Hot - Alternate for away games” jersey, which the fans accused them of copying from the German football club RB Leipzig. Meanwhile, according to the fans, the “Red Hot - Bold for away sessions” jersey from the two-time PSL winners was quite similar to the Paris Saint-Germain kit, which was designed by a youngster, while the “Red Hot - Original” was getting compared to the England cricket team’s kit.
