The FIFA World Cup 2022 is fast approaching. Some of the passionate football fans have already started preparing for the marquee event and have plans as to how they will show their support for their favourite team.

Notably, this is set to be the first World Cup in the Middle East and given that it is such a high-profile event there are set to be fans from around the world coming to Qatar to cheer for their side. However, initial reports carried by credible media houses suggest that fans could have to break their banks to plan a trip to Qatar for the World Cup.

A media report has claimed that England fans could well have to pay £9000 which is close to ₹9,00,000 per night to stay in Qatar during the World Cup. In addition, it is also being reported that Qatar sells the most expensive beer in the world with a pint costing about £11.50 or over eleven hundred bucks as per Indian currency.

This is apart from the expensive flight tickets as well as the tickets for the matches.

Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands

Group B: England, Iran, USA, Wales/Scotland/Ukraine

Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland

Group E: Spain, Costa Rica/New Zealand, Germany, Japan

Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia

Earlier, FIFA also released the official mascot for the event "La’eeb". The world is an Arabic term which means a super-skilled player.
