Urvashi Rautela, the actress from Bollywood, has been getting trolled on social media by fans, for posting Naseem Shah’s picture on her Instagram story, on September 2, Saturday. The 29-year-old took a snapshot of the live broadcast of the India vs Pakistan match in the Asia Cup 2023, wherein Naseem Shah was spotted in a team huddle before the start of the blockbuster encounter.
For the unversed, India is playing Pakistan in an ODI for the first time in more than four years, at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy. The all-important Group A clash in the Asia Cup is crucial for both teams to secure a spot in the Super Four stage of the tournament.
When Urvashi Rautela sent out her Instagram story in connection with Naseem Shah, one of the fast bowlers of Pakistan, the entire social media went abuzz. Twitter was quick to troll the Bollywood actress for depicting the cricketer, especially because it's not the first time she has done so.
Some of the Twitterati were begging Urvashi Rautela to leave alone Naseem Shah altogether. Meanwhile, the others weren’t happy about how she used a cricketer’s name to get cheap traction on her official Instagram account once again.
Talking about the cricket at the Asia Cup 2023, the captain of India, Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat. The start was poor for Team India, losing their top order in quick succession, including the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer. The Indian innings was brought back on track by Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya, with a fifty-run stand, as of this writing.
