Ian Botham and Ian Chappell don’t see eye to eye for nearly 50 years
On the eve of the second Test of the Ashes 1977 at Lord’s in London, Ian Botham and Ian Chappell were involved in a bar-room argument, which ended up with Botham shoving Chappell, and since then, these two cricket legends can’t see eye to eye. Channel Nine produced a documentary on their long-standing hatred towards each other, naming it “The Longest Feud,” in which Ian Botham called the Australian “sad and lonely,” while in response, Ian Chappell said that the Englishman is “a bully and a coward.”
