Fortnite and Marvel have a long history with collaborations dating back to 2018, when Thanos made his first appearance in the game. Since then, Fortnite has featured many Marvel characters, events, and items, such as the Avengers: Endgame crossover and the Nexus War season. However, it seems that the partnership between the two franchises is not over yet, as some hints suggest that another Marvel-themed collaboration is coming soon to Fortnite.
One of the hints is the recent discovery of Stark Industries files in the game in the new update. According to FN News, the recent 25.20 update brought a couple of Stark Industries files to a desk near Creaky Compound, which could be a hidden hint that there’s a new storyline coming up soon . Additionally, more details about Fortnite's highly anticipated Chapter 4, Season 4 will be available on August 25.
However, it is still too early to tell if this was a hint at a possible collaboration or just an Easter egg, as the files are not new game assets. The asset was originally used in Fortnite’s Chapter 2 of Season 4, in which the famous Nexus War happened in the Fortnite universe. In this huge event, which took place in 2020 and featured Tony Stark, players had to face the dreadful Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds.
Fortnite's collab with Furturama and Terminator
We can only wait for an official announcement while rumors about Epic's new collaboration with Marvel continue. Fortnite, meanwhile, recently disclosed its partnership with Terminator and Futurama. Users can now purchase new skins thanks to the most recent update, and Jujutsu Kasien is also rumored to make a brief appearance in the game as well.
The announcement was made official by Fortnite's official Twitter account, which also posted a picture of the upcoming skin with the caption, "The unknown future rolls towards us." The Model 101 is depicted in the image under dim, shadowy lighting, with what appear to be embers in the background. There is a single glowing red eye, indicating that at least one iteration of the skin will have some battle damage.
The two franchises have worked together previously, so this is not the first time. Early in 2021, there was a crossover event between Fortnite and Terminator, which brought the T-800 and Sarah Connor to the game.
