Indian left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, who is known for his bowling prowess is also very sharp towards replying to trolls. Arshdeep is currently in England practicing with the Indian cricket team, ahead of the second test of the series. Amidst the ongoing series, the left-arm pacer came up with a hilarious reply to a fan who was trolling him online.
In a comment on the social media platform Snapchat, the left-arm pacer was recently criticised by a fan for going out frequently when there is already a five-match away series going on against England. The 26-year-old put a lid on the troll with his brutal response.
On Snapchat, his reply came after a fan asked him on the social media platform Snapchat to focus on winning matches for India instead of roaming and having fun. The fan wrote, “Ghumne se kuch ni hoga pajji match jitwao (Nothing will happen by going out, win matches).” Replying to the troll, Arshdeep remarked sarcastically. He replied back by saying, “Okay beta (son) g.”
England tour is Arshdeep's maiden red-ball India call-up
Arshdeep Singh earned his maiden test India call-up as he was named in the squad for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England. However, he was not included in the playing eleven of the Indian side in the first Test match of the series that was played at Headingley, Leeds.
In that match, India ended up losing by five wickets failing to defend a target of 371 runs. Despite five batters scoring more than hundred runs in both the innings, and with England having 350 runs to chase on the final day the hosts won. They recorded the tenth-highest successful fourth-innings run chase. The second test match between India and England will start tomorrow at Edgbaston. Indian side will be looking to win this game to equal their tally to 1-1 by winning this.
