Ravindra Jadeja is perhaps having the best game of his cricketing career. After demolishing Sri Lanka's bowling attack with a stupendous knock of 175*, Jadeja struck five times while bowling. This historic performance from Jadeja has put India into a commanding position as the hosts have enforced the follow-on. The fabulous performance from Jadeja has also ensured that India cannot lose the game from here on.
With a score of 150+ and a five-wicket haul in the same Test match, Ravindra Jadeja got himself inducted into an elite list of cricketers. He became the sixth cricketer and the only third Indian to achieve this unique feat. Before Jadeja, Vinoo Mankad became the first Indian as well as the first cricketer to score more than 150 runs and take five wickets in the same game.
Twitter also acknowledged Ravindra Jadeja's dominance in the game and termed him as a 'GOAT all-rounder'. Praises from across the cricketing fraternity followed Jadeja's performance. Such was the impact of Jadeja in the game that Sri Lanka could not go past his individual score and got bundled out for 174. The all-rounder took the last few wickets in quick successions to put India at the top.

Jadeja achieve his goal!
As soon as the Saurashtra cricketer completed his five-wicket haul, he achieved his long-desired goal which he had revealed a few years back. While answering 25 questions to ESPNCricinfo, Jadeja had revealed 'a cricketing record he'd like to have at the end of the career'. The all-rounder had said that he wants to hold the record of scoring a hundred and taking five wickets in the same match. And now he holds the record and it's still not the end of his career.
