Godlike Esports and Team Vitality have been invited to the Call of Duty: Mobile Summer Invitational in China, organized by the Tencent Games and Garena. The Asian CODM tournament will feature 16 teams from China, India, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The eve nt is divided into three stages: Wild-In, Group Stage, and Playoffs. While the Wild-In and Group Stage will be played online, the Playoffs will be an offline event, held in China.

Godlike Esports is one of the strongest COD Mobile teams in the world, featuring prominent players like Learn, Neutrino, Trunks, AbhizDADA, PreVail, SkullGuy, and coach Ygor. The team finished as runners-up in the CODM World Championship 2023, emerging as dark horse when no one expected them to reach the finals. Since then, the team has improved significantly and is now one of the strongest contenders to win the Summer Invitational 2024.

On the other hand, Team Vitality has strengthened its roster by adding one of the top players, Tectonic. The team now features a powerful lineup with SAMs, JOKOs, Tectonic, Solo, Marvel, and ZIM. They finished second in the recently concluded Snapdragon Pro Series Season 4—India, losing to Godlike in the finals.

Format 

Wild-In Stage (29 August 2024 - 01 September 2024)

The first stage, Wild-In, features eight teams divided into two groups, each competing in a double-elimination bracket. All matches in this stage are Best of 5, with the top team from each group advancing to the Group Stage.

Group Stage (05 - 08 September 2024)

In the Group Stage, there are two groups of five teams each. They will compete in a single round-robin format, with all matches being Best of 5. The top four teams from each group will advance to the Knockout Stage, with the top two teams from each group moving to the upper bracket and the third and fourth placed teams going to the lower bracket.

Playoffs (19 - 22 September 2024)

The Playoffs will feature a Best of 7 double-elimination format. The top eight teams will compete offline in China.
