The love and respect MS Dhoni has earned over a period of time is just unimaginable. While his craze can be seen prior to his visit, the moment he takes the field the whole atmosphere changes completely as all eyes remain hooked at the former Indian skipper. One such instance was visible during the match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
Although, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is not MS Dhoni’s home ground, but the veteran of the game smashed the winning six at this very ground to help India lift their ODI World Cup under his leadership. Instance of MS Dhoni’s respect was once again visible during the recently concluded MI vs CSK match on April 8.
A groundstaff went upto the CSK skipper MSD and touched his feet. Picture of the same is now doing rounds on social media.
In another humble gesture, MS Dhoni was seen posing for a picture with the entire groundstaff of the Wankhede Stadium post their win over the five-time champions Mumbai Indians.
Talking about their campaign in the IPL 2023, while CSK lost their opening match against defending champions Gujarat Titans, they are now on a two-match winning streak. Earlier, they won their first match at home against Lucknow Super Giants by 12 runs, they won they second, beating Rohit Sharma-led MI by seven wickets on April 8 at the Wankhede.
