Assam Cricket Association (ACA) is set to organize the second edition of the Guwahati Premier League T20 2024. The league which will be featuring more than 150 cricketers based in Assam, will take place from March 19 to April 7, 2024. The entire tournament will be played at the Judges Field in Guwahati, Assam. This T20 league provides a platform for the budding cricketers from Assam to show their abilities at a bigger stage.

The season opener will be played between defending champions Bud Cricket Club and Gauhati Town Club. In the first season of the Guwahati Premier League, Bud CC clinched the title after defeating 91 Yards Club by eight wickets. Rajasthan Royals star player Riyan Parag was adjudged as the Player of the Tournament after finishing as the highest run-scorer.
This season, a total of eight teams will be playing in the 35-game tournament. Each team will be playing seven league games against every opposition and the top four teams will qualify for the Super Fours. Top two finishers from that stage will advance to the final clash.
