Argentina captain Lionel Messi has reserved high praise for his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe as he called him a real beast. Messi said that Mbappe is a complete player and is on the road to becoming one of the best in the world. Notably, the French Forward has already won the 2018 World Cup title and is due to feature in the 2022 Qatar World Cup starting from November this year.

The 23-year-old attacker is the shining light of the French forward line and has been impressive this season for PSG also. Mbappe is in the limelight ahead of the winter global event as his nation is once again one of the favourites to win the trophy in Qatar. Talking about the same, Messi said that Mbappe is pretty quick and finds space.

"Like Kylian, who's a real beast on the pitch, very strong in one-on-one duels, who looks for space, goes very fast and has a great sense of goal. He is a very complete player, as he has already shown, and will be among the very best in the world for years to come,” said Messi to TUDN.

Messi also talked about his other long-time teammate Neymar Jr and also praised on the Brazilian. "We know each other by heart, we had a great time together at Barça for several seasons and I would have liked even more. And then life allowed us to meet again in Paris. I'm delighted to play with him, to be with him every day," said Messi of Neymar.

The Argentine further revealed the goal the Ligue 1 giants have. "PSG's objective for the last few years, as everyone knows, is to win the Champions League. Last season, the elimination against Real Madrid (in the last 16, 1-0, 1-3) was very hard to digest because we played two big games and it came down to details," recalled the Argentine.

"The current season is atypical, with a World Cup in the middle of the season, but the Champions League remains PSG's main objective. It's a complicated competition to win, the best doesn't always win, and it can come down to very little. We prepare ourselves as well as possible to be able to face all situations and be up to the task."
