India under Rohit Sharma have been relentless and they showed why in the two T20Is they have played so far against England. The Men in Blue won both the matches convincingly and have gained an unassailable lead in the three-match T20I series. After the sorrows of the 5th Test, the T20I series win brought some joy to the Indian cricket team fans.

Wasim Jaffer, who has also been an ardent supporter of team India looked utterly pleased with the way India have dominated the T20I series so far. This also gave Jaffer a chance to take a dig at his social media nemesis and former England captain Michael Vaughan.

As soon as India defeated England in the second T20I at Edgbaston Jaffer shared a meme with a caption asking Michael Vaughan if he was okay. “Hope you're ok @MichaelVaughan,” wrote Jaffer on Twitter.

Notably, Vaughan had shared a similar tweet when England had beaten India in the 5th rescheduled Test at Edgbaston. “Just checking are ok @WasimJaffer14,” had written Vaughan on Twitter.

India go 2-0 up

Coming to India’s two convincing wins so far, it has been a top-drawer performance from the Men in Blue. While India won the first match by 50 runs, they beat England by 49 runs in the second T20I. What’s more interesting is that India made as many as four changes to the side in the second T20I but that did not change their approach.

Rohit Sharma came along with Rishabh Pant to open the innings and the two batters got the desired start. The two batters put up a 49-run partnership for the first wicket. However, there was a mini-collapse that saw India getting reduced to 89/5. But a stern knock from Ravindra Jadeja (46* off 29 balls) saved India as they posted 170/8 and then India bowled out England for 121 winning the match by 49 runs.
