Pakistan despite being one of the best  T20 side , are on verge of getting eliminated from T20 WC 2022 semi-final race after losing their first two games by a very close margin to India and Zimbabwe, respectively. Talking about this game, Pakistan made a mess out of a simple run-chase as they failed to chase down 131 runs. Now the question for all cricket fans would be whether does the Pakistan team still have a chance to enter knockout stage in T20 WC 2022. We will check different scenarios on how can Pakistan qualify for semi-finals in this article.

- Pakistan can maximum end up with 6/10 points in group stage if they win all their remaining 3 games.

- South Africa, Zimbabwe team with already 3 points in their kitty shouldn't win more than 1 out of their remaining 3 games. If any one of the team wins 2 out of their remaining 3 games, then they go past Pakistan by getting 7 points.

- Bangladesh already with 2 points again shouldn't win more than 1 out of their remaining 3 games. If Bangladesh win 2 more matches, then they would be tied with Pakistan on points and it would come down to NRR.

For best case scenario we assume India to win all their remaining games of T20 WC 2022 since if India lose 1 (or) 2 games against SA, BAN (or) ZIM then there maybe chance of other teams like SA, ZIM also to go past PAK on points table along with India.

With all these above criteria the results of the remaining games in Group-2 of T20 WC 2022 should be like:

BAN vs ZIM (30th Oct) - Bangladesh should defeat Zimbabwe
PAK vs NED (30th Oct) - Pakistan should defeat Netherlands
IND vs SA (30th Oct) - India should defeat South Africa

ZIM vs NED (2nd Nov) - Any Result is fine
IND vs BAN (2nd Nov) - India should defeat Bangladesh
PAK vs SA (3rd Nov) - Pakistan should defeat South Africa

SA vs NED (6th Nov) - Any result is fine
PAK vs BAN (6th Nov) - Pakistan should defeat Bangladesh
IND vs ZIM (6th Nov) - India should defeat Zimbabwe

If the above results happen then points table will look like:
IND - 10 points
PAK - 6 points

SA, ZIM - 5 points (max.)
BAN, NED - 4 points (max.)
