Rajasthan Royals started their IPL 2023 campaign on a good note with four wins in the first five games but lost the next six out of nine matches in IPL 2023. RR's humiliating loss against RCB has put them on the verge of being eliminated from the playoffs race despite being in fifth position in the IPL 2023 points table. Here, we will see how RR can still qualify for the playoffs with seven wins in the points table overall.

GT - 9 wins (13 games)
CSK - 7 wins (13 games - 1 No Result)
LSG - 7 wins (13 games - 1 No Result)
RCB - 7 wins (13 games)
RR - 7 wins (14 games)
MI - 7 wins (13 games)
KKR - 6 wins (13 games)
PBKS - 6 wins (14 games)
DC - 5 wins (13 games)
DC - 4 wins (13 games)
Remaining schedule of IPL 2023:
DC vs CSK in Delhi
KKR vs LSG in Lucknow
MI vs SRH in Mumbai
RCB vs GT in Bengaluru.
GT, CSK, and LSG have more than 14 points but RCB, MI & KKR have exactly 14 points.
For, RR to reach playoffs both MI and RCB should lose their last game so that they stay in 14 points only.
- KKR must lose to LSG
- MI must lose to SRH
- RCB must lose to GT
Even if KKR wins they may not be able to qualify as they have very less NRR when compared to RR.
KKR must beat LSG by 70 balls to spare (or) by 104 runs to eliminate RR from IPL 2023 playoffs, which isn't possible practically.
RCB has a better NRR than RR, thus RCB must lose by at least 6 runs (or) 4 balls to be spared against GT.
