The ongoing third Test between India and England has not really gone according to the plan for Virat Kohli's side. Coming to this contest on the back of a brilliant win at Lord's, India won the toss and opted to bat first in tricky batting conditions. The brave move backfired as the visitors were bundled out on 78 in the first innings. In reply, Joe Root scored another century to power England to a huge total of 432, giving the home side a huge lead of 354 runs.

With India facing an almost-impossible task of surviving for more than 2 days, only two things can save this Test for them - miracle with batting, rain at Headingley! The weather in England has always been fascinating, with rain coming to rescue of Joe Root's side on last day of opening Test.

There was a bit of drizzle on Day 3, Friday before the start of India's second innings at Headingley. With no rain on first two days, Indian fans started to imagine the possibility of rain forcing the match towards a draw. With still two days left in the Test, here is how the forecast for Day 4 and 5 in Leeds looks like:

Day 4 forecast at Headingley

The weather forecast for Day 4 at Headingley looks quite good for a perfect day of Test cricket. Although it will be partly cloudy throughout, there are very less chances of rain and we can expect full quota of 90 overs to be bowled on Friday.

Day 5 forecast at Headingley

Considering the earlier weather forecast, there is a possibility that the match might not even go to Day 5 with how things are poised. However, if required, the forecast for the final day of the Test is also quite positive with very little chances of rain. It might be slightly cloudy as compared to Saturday with pacers expected to get a bit more assistance.
