As Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are involved in a fierce Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium, eyes are set on renowned Canadian rapper Drake, who has put $750K on the victory of the Rajat Patidar-led pack. RCB, who are playing their fourth IPL final, are getting massive support to lift the trophy after 18 years. Their supporters are keen to see them win the title as they feel this is the right time for their side to quench their trophy thirst which has been going on for the last 18 years. Amidst these scenes, when an artist like Drake displays support to the team, it becomes a headline.
Drake has put the bet on RCB winning IPL 2025 through Cryptocurrency’s platform Stake. If Challengers succeed in winning the trophy, the 38-year-old rapper will get a massive sum of $1.3 million (around INR 11.11 crore) in return.
RCB heading towards their maiden title win
Challengers have fortified their position in the IPL 2025 final. As of writing, PBKS have lost their two batters in the 17th over in the form of Nehal Wadhera and Marcus Stoinis. Stoinis lost his wicket after hitting a maximum on his first delivery. Kings require 49 off 20 to win the marquee game and lift the trophy. PBKS are 148/7 in 17.4 overs.
Shashank Singh (unbeaten 25 off 17) is currently at the crease with Kyle Jamieson (0 off one). Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are yet to bowl their one over apiece in the game. Therefore, the task won’t be easy for Punjab, who are in the crunch situation currently.
