Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma celebrated his 34th birthday today and many of the current and former cricketers have wished the bowler on social media. But one of the best and most hilarious birthday wishes came from former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who posted a heartwarming video on his Instagram.

The video posted had a compilation of his time with Ishant Sharma in the Indian team and IPL, with Daler Mehendi's song ‘Ho Jaayegi Balle Balle’ playing in the background.

The post on social media was captioned: “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to one of the tallest and fiercest fast bowlers in the business Enjoy your day lambu! Looking forward to your comeback. Lots of love.”

Ishant Sharma has played for India in 105 Tests and has picked up 311 wickets. His game for the Indian team was in November 2021 during a Test against New Zealand.

However, the Delhi-born bowler lost his place to players like Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur in the bowling lineup in Test cricket. But still, Ishant is the second only Indian fast bowler to bag 100 Tests after 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev.

He is also part of an exclusive club of 12 Indians who have played over 100 matches in the longest format of the game. Over the past decade, Sharma has been part of multiple Test triumphs for India under the iconic Ravi Shastri - Virat Kohli duo.

Then between 2018-2021, Ishant Sharma was the leader of the Indian pace attack along with Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Umesh Yadav.

Talking about Yuvraj Singh, the left-hander will be returning to the cricket field in the Road Safety World Series that is set to start on 10 September. The all-rounder will play for the India Legends team in the tournament. Yuvi took part in the previous edition of the series. He will be playing under Sachin Tendulkar, who was named the captain of the team.
