Cricket can be cruel but not so much that it forces the fans to leave loving the game. Mumbai Indians fans are tear-eyed and the MI camp is celebrating. For a team that has won five titles in the Indian Premier League (IPL), a single win in the tournament was looking impossible. But it happened.

It may have taken them nine games to register their first win in the season, but Mumbai Indians will take this win with both hands. Rohit Sharma will be a relieved man and why not, he has got the best gift on his 35th birthday. Talking about the win, the bowlers set it up for Mumbai with some disciplined bowling in the middle.

They restricted Rajasthan to a below-par total (158/6). But things did not start that well as MI lost Rohit Sharma early in the innings. Ishan Kishan also departed after showing some glimpses of his old self. But Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma were up to the challenge as they stitched an 81-run partnership to set the chase for MI.

The finishing touch was provided by Tim David and then Daniel Sams who sealed the game for MI with a maximum on the second delivery of the final over. As MI finally opened their account, Twitter users shared their emotions as well. Have a look at some of the best tweets from the game here:
