It was the second win on the trot for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as the Faf du Plessis-led team beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 67 runs in their 12th game of the season. It was a dominating performance by RCB as they first scored 192/3 while batting first and then bowled out SRH for 125.
While Faf du Plessis, Rajat Patidar, and Dinesh Karthik did the job with the bat, it was Wanindu Hasaranga and Josh Hazlewood with the ball. Hasaranga completely derailed SRH's chase with his five-wicket haul while Hazlewood did not give away any freebies and only conceded 17 runs in his four overs. He also took the important wicket of Rahul Tripathi who scored a brilliant half-century (57 off 38).
