Dutch driver Max Verstappen finished on top after the 2022 French Grand Prix for Red Bull as Ferrari's Charles Leclerc crashed out of the race on Lap 17. This blunder by the Monegasque driver helped the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell get a double podium at Paul Ricard.

Prancing Horse still finished a consolation price as Carlos Sainz bagged the fastest lap. This was Verstappen’s 27th win of his career, while Hamilton took his first second-place finish of the season. Similarly, Russell strengthened his position in the Drivers’ championship as he chased Sainz for the third spot. Now F1 calendar turns over to the Hungaroring as we head to the 2022 Hungary Grand Prix.
