The Pakistan cricket team landed in India with much zeal and hype ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023. The Babar Azam-led was welcomed with loud cheers with fans turning in large numbers to welcome the neighbours from across the border. Several Pakistan players took to social media to express their delight on the welcome they received.

Similarly, moments later, the menu of the Pakistan cricket team on their arrival to India also surfaced. The Men in Green, who are in Hyderabad were said to be feasting on some exquisite cuisine from the region. The notion was made clear as several fans and cricket experts took to social media to share the menu.

As per a report by PTI, all 10 teams participating at the ODI World Cup 2023 will rely on chicken, mutton and fish for their daily protein intake and beef will not be available. As the report further reveals, for carbohydrate intake, the Pakistan team has asked the stadium caterer for some steamed rice, spaghetti in Bolognese sauce and some vegetarian pulao.

The team’s diet chart, which is said to be in PTI’s possession also includes grilled lamb chops, mutton curry, butter chicken and some grilled fish.

Talking about the Babar Azam-led side’s ODI World Cup 2023 campaign, they will take on the Netherlands in their tournament opener on October 6 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad and Sri Lanka on October 10 before locking horns with India on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. But ahead of that, the Men in Green will take on Australia on October 3 in Hyderabad after they lost to New Zealand in their first game on Friday, 29 September by five wickets.
