American YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed announced his retirement from football after his disappointing performance in a charity game. Speed, better known as Cristiano Ronaldo superfan, decided to call it quits in football after a below-par performance at the Match for Hope on Friday, February 23. Speed featured in a legendary lineup of footballers and content creators, where he played under the guidance of Arsene Wenger.

Before the game, Wenger was seen giving tactical advice to the Ronaldo superfan. However, Speed ended up causing utter chaos in this third charity football fixture, where he walked in the field as a substitute. During the game, Speed ended up producing a brutal tackle on the former Brazilian footballer Kaka and received a yellow card for the same. Apart from it, the streamer also missed a goal after being played through by Eden Hazard.

This wasn’t it as Speed was later seen engaging in conversation with Roberto Carlos and apologised to him. Carlos replied, “Sorry for what? Control and shoot”, before complimenting him and said, “you are very fast.”

However, it seemed that his performance during the game night left Speed disheartened, and he said, “I am sick of football man, I am about to quit.” Even after the game, he was heard saying “Sorry y’all. I apologise. I am quitting football. That’s it. I am done with this football s**t.”

The 19-year-old then took to social media to announce his decision and said, “I think it’s time for me to retire from football.” Speed has been in the news lately with his unique and funny antics.

Recently, he was seen attending the Ballon d’Or ceremony and meeting several stars. Not only this, but he was also seen meeting the legendary Ronaldo Nazario and visited his house.
