England hammered Indian team by 10 wickets in semi-final game of T20 WC 2022 to enter final for 3rd time after 2010 & 2016 T20 World Cup. Batting first, India managed to post a total of 168/6 in 20 overs with the help of gritty fifty from Virat Kohli and stunning finish from Hardik Pandya in death overs. Adil Rashid bowled brilliantly at an economy rate of 5 and also picked the key wicket of Suryakumar Yadav, while Chris Jordan picked 3 wickets to his name and helped his team to put in a better position.

England opening pair Alex Hales and Jos Buttler ended up chasing 169 runs with 4 overs to be spare. Indian bowlers embarrassing performance led their team to another heart break in ICC knockout game as they fail to lift the trophy once again despite winning 4 out of 5 games in T20 WC 2022 group stage.
