The second edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) concluded on Saturday, August 2 with South Africa Champions defeating Pakistan Champions by nine wickets in the summit clash at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. However, the Protea Champions advanced into the final after beating Australia Champions in the second semi-final, the Pakistan Champions received a walkover after India Champions withdrew from the match.

However, on Saturday, August 2, legend AB de Villiers’ scintillating show with the bat, which saw him played an unbeaten innings of 120 guided the side home in 16.5 overs. While his performance was treat for all present at the stadium or even outside, a comment from the WCL owner, Harshit Tomar left everyone stunned as well as in surprise.

The league owner, Harshit Tomar, who began his journey as a rapper, came into limelight after being in the show Roadies. On the sidelines of the finale on Saturday night, he was asked how would he celebrate the successful second edition of the tournament. His comments, not only left the anchor, British model and actor Karishma Kotak in shock.

In a video that has gone viral, the presenter asked, "how are you going to celebrate today?" In response, Harshit said, "Probably once this is over, I'm going to propose to you,” leaving the anchor stunned by his comments. While Karishma seemingly could not control her emotions, she told the cameraperson to end the live.

Speaking of the tournament, it began on July 18 in Birmingham. The tournament, which ran across 12 days, saw five teams play for the coveted title, including the likes of defending champions India, West Indies Champions, Pakistan Champions, Australia Champions, and South Africa Champions. However, Pakistan, India, South Africa and Australia qualified for the semi-finals, the summit clash saw the AB de Villiers-led side lock horns with the Men in Green.
