England's batting wonder,  Harry Brook  is eager to have the same impact as the heroes of the historic 2005 Ashes victory when the eagerly awaited England and Australia Test series kicks off at Edgbaston on Friday. With four hundreds in just seven Test matches, the Yorkshire batsman, 24, has had an impressive start to his international career and has recently revealed his plans to counter Aussie spinner, Nathan Lyon.

With England desperate to win back the coveted Ashes urn since Brook's selection to the team raises expectations for an impressive batting display against the World Champions Australia. As England haven’t gotten their hands on the urn since 2015, they will be eager to win the Ashes this time, under the new Bazball regime.  In addition, Brook was crucial to England's victory at the T20 World Cup.

When Brook was asked how he planned to approach 487-wicket taker Nathon Lyon, Brook's response was as straightforward as he usually is. He told the reporters,  "What do you think? If he bowls a good ball then I'm going to respect it. Other than that, I'm going to try and take him on."

"He could get a lot of wickets, but hopefully we're going to hit him for a lot of runs. I'd like to think I'm a player who can find gaps and hit different gaps," Brook  added .

Harry Brook’s confidence seems to be undeterred after a dismal IPL season in India. He was one of the biggest buys in the auction, as Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for a huge sum of 13.25 Cr in the auction. However, the English youngster was unable to do justice for the massive price tag as he scored just 190 runs in 11 games and was also dropped for a few games.
