The pitch gets better as the night gets on:  Gerald Coetzee

Coming back to the match, Chennai Super Kings had an incredible batting effort heralded by captain Ruturaj Gaikwad's  69 and Shivam Dube's 66 before Dhoni finished things in style. On the other hand, Mumbai saw  Hardik Pandya pick up two wickets while Shreyas Gopal and Gerald Coetzee chipped in with one scalp each.

Talking about MI's bowling effort in the mid-innings interview, Coetzee said, "Around about par (total). The pitch gets better as the night gets on because of the dew. That's what happened in the last game. Very beneficial (to be alongside Bumrah). He (Bumrah) is probably the best in the world in this format, so learn from him. I'm loving it (the IPL). Great conditions here for cricket and you need to be at your best."
