In the NBA Play-in tournament, the Sacramento Kings got the better of the Golden State Warriors 118-94, setting up a date against the New Orleans Pelicans for the first-round playoff spot. A fter the big win, De’Aaron Fox, the Sacramento Kings guard, revealed that he wore the Steph Curry shoes after signing with the Under Armour’s Steph Curry shoe brand.
At the Golden 1 Center, the Sacramento Kings were at their imperious best for most of the game, taking an early lead in the first quarter before consolidating their position, despite a hiccup in the second quarter. At the break in the first half, the Kings had a 54-52 lead before they blew the Warriors out of the water in the second half in front of their adoring home fans on Tuesday night.
Keegan Murray was the top scorer for the Sacramento Kings, notching up 32 points with nine rebounds, while De’Aaron Fox got 24 points including six assists. Following their splendid performance, when De’Aaron Fox was asked about getting over the hump, he said, “I think it’s great. Getting over that hump was one thing we talked about.”
“I’m wearing his (Steph Curry’s) shoes tonight. Just with the way the season kind of played out and some of the games that we lost, we were like, ‘Of course we end up running into Golden State,’” De’Aaron Fox added.

Meanwhile, Klay Thompson was spotted taking a moment inside the Golden 1 Center after the Golden State Warriors, the four-time NBA champions, were eliminated from the post-season of the league. Thompson was the best performer for the Warriors on Tuesday night, scoring 22 points with four rebounds and two assists, but his efforts were far from enough for his team.
