Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal, who is just 17 years of age, was asked about whether he would ever join their Spanish rivals Real Madrid, and in response, he emphatically said “no”, calling the move “impossible”. After making his first appearance for the Barcelona senior team as a 15-year-old, Lamine Yamal has grown leaps and bounds as a player over the couple of years, which led to his arrival in the Spanish national squad as well.
In his 82 matches for Barcelona after debuting in the 2022-23 season, Lamine Yamal has scored 15 goals and provided 20 assists, to win the La Liga and Supercopa de Espana, and his stats are quite impressive for a player who is still developing. Meanwhile, the 11 appearances in Spanish colours for Lamine Yamal, he has scored three goals and provided four assists, and was a part of the UEFA European Championship victory last year.

In his latest interview with Mundo Deportivo, Lamine Yamal was questioned about his future, and whether he will consider joining Real Madrid someday after departing from Barcelona during his football career. The response from the teenage sensation was defining as he said to the reporter, “Real Madrid move one day? No way. No chance. Impossible Real Madrid, no”.
Moreover, Lamine Yamal also spoke about the incident of racial abuse from certain fans in stadiums, stating that, “When you win 0-3 or 0-4, they can say what they want, but in the end they cannot do anything, they see you playing, they see you defeating them in their stadium, they see how they cannot reach the ball, and this (racial chants) is the only thing for them.”
“If they chanted against that I am black or anything else, then it does not bother me, and I am proud of our identity,” he added before pointing racial chants are bad and shouldn’t be justified.
