The India and England five-game Test series finally nears its conclusion as both teams are set to face in the final match in Edgbaston. The Men in Blue have dominated the series as they hold a 2-1 lead with historic performances at Kennington Oval and the Lord’s. 

The fifth Test match between India and England was postponed after positive COVID-19 cases were found in the Indian camp. However, the rescheduled Test might face the wrath of rain gods as Birmingham has been one of the key regions where the rains have spoiled matches.

Weather forecast for all five days in Edgbaston

Day 1

As it can be seen from the weather forecast of day 1, there is a high chance of rain on the given day. It is 72% for daytime and goes down to 43% around the night. This means that there is small hope of playing cricket on 1 July in Edgbaston hence the first day of the fifth Test between India and England could be played with some interruptions. Similarly, if rainfall is heavy, the entire day’s play is expected to be called off.

Day 2

The weather forecast for day 2, says there is a high chance of rain on the given day. It is 76% for daytime and goes down to 22% around the night. Like day one there is small hope of any cricket on 1 July in Edgbaston hence the second day of the fifth Test between India and England may also include some interruptions. Similarly, if rainfall is heavy so the entire day’s play could be called off.

Day 3

Day 3 forecast is better as per cricketing standards as the chances of precipitation are lower than the first two days as the percentage of rain is 24% during the day and 22% at the night. So fans can rejoice with the possibility of experiencing a full day’s play.

Day 4

Similarly, the chances of rain on day 4 will go down to 15% on day four during the daytime while 12% at night. 

Day 5
