South Africa defeated India by 49 runs in the third T20I match with the help of a terrific century from Rilee Rossouw and a stunning fifty from Quinton de Kock which powered them to a total of 227/3 in 20 overs.

Indian pacers Mohammed Siraj, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar and Umesh Yadav ended up being too expensive as they conceded 11-12 runs an over with the ball. David Miller ended up smashing 3 sixes in the last over of the innings and helped them post a humongous total on the board eventually.

In the run chase, India got off to a very poor start and were reduced to 86/5 and at one point it looked India will lose by a margin of close to 100 runs but Deepak Chahar-Umesh Yadav partnership helped them salvage some pride and reduce the deficit.

Dwaine Pretorius ended up being a key bowler for the visitors as he scalped 3 wickets while Wayne Parnell, Lungi Ngidi and Keshav Maharaj picked 2 wickets respectively. Dinesh Karthik was brilliant with his cameo worth 46 off 21 but it wasn't enough as the hosts kept on losing wickets at regular intervals.
