The Indian cricket team will tour England for white-ball series next year, confirmed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Thursday, July 24, when the current five-match Test series for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy is 2-1 in favour of the hosts. In their announcement for the home fixtures in 2026, ECB stated that India will play against England in five T20Is followed by three ODIs with the first match beginning on July 1.

On this day at Banks Homes Riverside in Durham, the first T20I of the five-match series will be played between England and India before they take on each other at Old Trafford in Manchester on July 4 and Trent Bridge in Nottingham on July 7. The fourth and fifth T20I matches of the series will be taking place at Seal Unique Stadium in Bristol and Utilita Bowl in Southampton on July 9 and 11.

Following that, the three-match ODI series will begin between England and India with the first one set to take place at Edgbaston in Birmingham on July 14. The second ODI will take place at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on July 16, while the third and final ODI of the series will take place at Lord’s in London on July 19, to round off India’s white-ball series against England in 2026.

India are currently playing a five-match Test series in England

Apart from that, England will also be playing six Test matches next summer at home, three against New Zealand in June before taking on Pakistan in three during August and September. They will end their summer of cricket in 2026 with three-match T20I series followed by three-match ODI series in September against Sri Lanka, with whom they played a three-match Test series last year.

Moreover, as of right now, India will be hoping to get the better of England in the ongoing fourth Test match at Old Trafford in Manchester, to make a comeback in the series.
