India and Sri Lanka are playing a three-match T20I series. The first match was played on Tuesday (3 January) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India won the nail-biting thriller on the last ball, by two runs. Now, the caravan will move to Pune for the second T20I. Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium will host the second T20I. Both teams are expected to come all guns blazing.
While Sri Lanka will be looking to make a comeback and level the series, India will look to seal it then and there. It is expected to be another thrilling contest with both teams not too ahead of their counterparts. Meanwhile, fans as well as the two teams will be worried about the weather in Pune as well. Although it’s winter season and there are least chances of rain, the unpredictability of Pune weather cannot be ruled out.

According to weather.com, it is expected to be a humid day with the temperature soaring up to 31 degrees Celsius during the daytime. The humidity will be around 52% while the chances of rain stand at 5%. The temperature is expected to come down to 20 degrees Celsius during the nighttime. The humidity, meanwhile, will go up to 61%. The chances of rain during the nighttime stand at 4%.
So, it is safe to say that fans can expect a full-fledged match on Thursday. However, dew will be there to create trouble for the team bowling second.
