The Hardik Pandya-led Team India is all set to lock horns in the second T20I of the five-match series on August 6 in Guyana. However, ahead of the second T20I, the Men in Blue were hosted by the Indian High Commission in Guyana on Saturday, August 5.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to share the pictures from Team India’s evening at the High Commission. In the pictures it can be seen skipper Hardik Pandya and head coach Rahul Dravid exchanging handshakes with the High Commissioner of India, Dr KJ Srinivasa. The Indian board captioned the post, “Dr KJ Srinivasa - High Commissioner of India - hosted #TeamIndia at the Indian High Commission in Guyana ahead of second T20I.”
India trail 1-0 in the five-match series
Talking about the opening T20I of the five-match series, Hardik Pandya and men succumbed to a narrow four-run defeat at the hands of Rovman Powell and his men. Having won the toss. The hosts posted 149 on the board, courtesy Nicholas Pooran’s 34-ball 41 and Rovman Powell’s 48 off 32 deliveries. However, their bowlers put on a show as they bundled out India at the score of 145 on a track which was difficult to bat on.
With a 1-0 lead, the hosts will aim to replicate their game, whereas the visitors will come up strong after already clinching the two-match Test series and the ODI series.
