In the shortest format of cricket, which is officially called the T20 International (T20I), a batter has less time to make an impact in comparison to other formats, but often, the top players manage to deliver the goods with the bat in hand. As far as women’s cricket is concerned, the batters are setting a new standard in T20Is in recent years, scoring centuries quite regularly, and now, Smriti Mandhana added her name in the illustrious list, to also become the first Indian to notch-up a three-figure score in all three formats.

Smriti Mandhana
Smriti Mandhana is only the second Indian women’s cricketer to score a century in T20I cricket, bringing up the milestone moment as captain on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in the first T20I of the five-match series against England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. She managed to score 112 runs in 62 balls with 15 fours and three sixes, to bring up the highest individual score for India in WT20Is, which helped her side defeat England by a convincing margin of 97 runs while defending 210/5 total.

Harmanpreet Kaur
Harmanpreet Kaur is the first Indian player to score a century in WT20I, which happened during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup clash against New Zealand at the Providence Cricket Stadium in Georgetown in 2018. She got 103 runs in 51 balls with seven fours and eight sixes to help India reach 194/5 total before restricting New Zealand to 160/9 , winning the contest by 34 runs.
