Former England spinner Monty Panesar feels India have a very good chance of winning the fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy to be held at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester from July 23 onwards. Panesar feel if Shubman Gill’s team utilise the pitch to their advantage, they will taste success in the fourth Test. India, after playing their maiden Test match in 1936 at the Old Trafford, have played in nine Tests, in which they have lost four. Five Tests ended in a draw. They’ve never won any red-ball game at the venue. Gill and his men will have to play top-notch cricket in the upcoming game to win the match and evade India from a series defeat.

Prior to the massive contest, Panesar spoke to IANS and said that the pitch will be perfect for both batters and bowlers, with spinners enjoying advantage later on. "I think India's got a very good chance of doing well in the next Test match. The pitch will have everything to offer but it's about application and if they can do that, they will have a good chance of winning. It's going to be a good batting and bowling wicket, with the spinners getting something later on. There will be everything on offer for everyone," said Panesar.

Monty Pansar feels Jasprit Bumrah should play the fourth Test

Earlier, Monty Panesar had a chat with ANI and said Bumrah should show up for India in the fourth Test, which is going to be do-or-die for the visitors. "Jasprit Bumrah should play the next match. It is a must-win match for India. They need to play their best attack. Bumrah has to play the next Test. It is the pitch with the most pace and bounce in the country, so he has to play," added Panesar.

Bumrah has been in stunning form in this series, bagging 12 wickets in four innings of two Tests. At Lord’s, India lost the game by 22 runs but Bumrah displayed his bowling effort in the first innings and claimed a fifer.
