Indonesia will battle it out against world champions Argentina in an International Friendly on Monday evening at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Argentinians are on an unbeaten juggernaut streak since their infamous defeat against Saudi Arabia. They faced Australia in their first friendly match since their 7-0 win against Curacao in March, earlier this year. The match against Australia was a cakewalk too, as they clinched the game 2-0, with the first goal coming in the very second minute of the game. Lionel Messi is unlikely to feature in this game and that might prove beneficial for Indonesia.
Indonesia on the other hand, will treat this friendly game as a warmup before their all-important AFC Asian Cup. In their previous match, Indonesia played out a goalless draw against Palestine at home. It will be a stiff challenge for the Indonesia side to face the in-form Argentina.
